Wages for housework . – During the election time, the major attractive promises for the women, is Wages for Housework . Which came from the Political Party of actor Kamal Hassan Makkal Needhi Maiam . The concept of ‘wages for housework’ was born as part of the struggles and awareness campaigns of the second phase of the Feminist’s movement in Europe and North America. In addition to raising other political and social demands, women’s rights activists have visualized and politicized experiences related to the daily domestic work of women in ‘private’ spaces – such as childcare. They questioned the prevailing myths that women’s ability to do housework is rooted in their ‘basic’ identity and that they do ‘the work of love’. So this year started with questioning the conventional way of treating women in their life in this country.

The major reason projected as the seat-sharing, But when we check the real issue, it is not about the seat-sharing, but it is not only about the representation of women in politics and but also how the patriarchy showed in our major political parties.
